43rd Annual Bush Park Cross Country Run Series (2013)

Every Thursday night in August: 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th (Trophy Night).
5:00 pm   Registration
6:00 pm   3K (1.89 miles) All ages
6:20 pm   500 meter, 6 yr & under
6:35 pm   1600 meter, 7 - 12 years
6:50 pm   5K (3.1 miles) Open

Entry Fees (day of race only) ::
$3 per event or $2 per event if 18 or younger (Aug 2, 9, 16 & 23)
$4 per event or $3 per event if 18 or younger (Trophy Night, Aug 30)

Awards: Ribbons are given to the top 5 children per age groups weekly for both races. Awards will begin approx. 15-20 minutes after the 1600 meter race. All children will receive a participant's ribbon or sticker each week.
Ribbons are given to the top 3 finishers per age group in the 3K and 5K weekly.
On Trophy Night (the last race of the weekly series) medals are awarded instead of ribbons !!

Directions: Bush Park is near Salem Hospital, between Mission St. & Cross St. From I-5 take Hwy 22 West, (which becomes Mission Street), turn left on 12th St, right on Cross St (at Salem Emblem), take first, second or third right into park. Zoomable map Come early for ample parking. There is parking in the North side of the park too.
