Course Description

Out and Back: Start Line will be on the lower level of the roadway by the soccer fields and parking area with three porta-potties. Race will proceed along paved roadways into the Park, under the trestle and under the bridges to a turn-around and back to the Start.

Parking : Please park in the lot behind Roth’s Market (1130 Wallace Road NW) near the entrance to their Hospitality Center. Then proceed approximately 1 1/2 blocks along Glenn Creek Road to the Start Line.

Proceeds: Event proceeds will support the Willamette Valley Road Runners Scholarship programs.

Men’s Race begins at 9:20AM

 Custom Coffee Mugs: The first 100 finishers will receive a custom designed event coffee mug filled with Cliff Shot Hot Chocolate Recovery Drink. This brand new product is now available at Gallagher’s Fitness Resources.

Awards: Awards ceremony will begin after the race events, at approximately 9:50AM. Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers, and also in 5 year age groups.

Drawing: A random drawing with prizes from Gallagher Fitness Resources will be held at the end of the Awards. You must be present to win.

Early Registration:

OFFICIAL WAIVER: I know that by participating in a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not participate unless I am
medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the event.
I assume all risks associated with other participants, the effects of the weather, including chilling conditions, high heat and/or humidity, traffic
and the conditions of the road/trail, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts
and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the State of Oregon
(ODOT), Marion County, City of Salem, Willamette Valley Road Runners, Gallagher Fitness Resources, Roth’s, Capitol Auto Group, and all
other sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims and liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event. I
grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, video, recordings, or any other record of this event for any
legitimate purpose. Parents must sign if participant is under 18 years of age. This is to certify that my child has permission to compete in this
event, is in good physical condition and that event officials may authorize necessary emergency treatment. ENTRY FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
