The start and finish for all events will be THE HOOP located at 3575 Fairview Industrial Drive SE. Courses for all events will be out and back on Fairview Industrial Drive. The route is essentially flat on wide streets.

Directions to THE HOOP & Parking: From the North: Drive south on 1-5 to Exit 253 (Detroit/Santiam Hwy 22). Go West on Hwy 22 (Mission St.) Turn left on 25th St (by KMart). Turn right on Madrona (near airport entrance). Turn left at 1st traffic light on to Fairview industrial Drive. The Hoop is on the next block.

Mail-in Registration: Mail your completed registration form along with your check or money order payable to: Spring Splash 233 Commercial St. NE Salem, OR 97301. Mail-in Registration must be received by March 29, 1999. A Late Registration fee will be charged on day of event at packet pickup for entries received after that date.

Day of Race Registration: From 7:30am to 8:45am inside The Hoop located at 3575 Fairview Industrial Drive SE.

SUPER Prize Drawing and Awards! The Awards Ceremony will be held inside The Hoop following the completion of the Spring Splash 8k (approx 10:30 AM).

Spring Splash Dash 1K: All participants receive a finisher's memento. Also, awards given to the First Boy & First Girl Overall and the First Five Finishers in the 5 & under, 6-9, and 10-12 year age groups.

5k Run and 5k Walk Certificates presented to First Five Male & First Five Female finishers in each event.

Spring Splash 8K Overall Awards - Men's & Women's Overall 8k Winners AND Men's & Women's Masters 8k Winners will each receive an $85.00 certificate good for Asics shoes or clothing items.

Spring Splash 8K Age Group Awards - 1st Place Prize: Award Certificate and Asics Mesh Gear Bag 2nd Place Prize: Award Certificate and Asics 8-pak of Coolmax Socks 3rd Place Prize: Award Certificate and Asics Stainless Commuter Coffee Cup.

Age Groups - 0-14  15-19  20-24   25-29  30-34  35-39  40-44  45-49  50-54  55-59   60-64  65 & over.

Prizes not picked up at awards ceremony must be picked up from Gallagher Fitness Resources by April 15, 2000. NOTE: Prizes will not be mailed to winners

Children's shirts will also be available featuring the same design printed on a 50/50 cotton/polyester t-shirt. Only 25 shirts will be available in children's sizes. Shirts will be available in children's size medium and large only.

The Spring Splash crew of volunteers are Blanchet athletes, parents, coaches, and boosters.
