Day of Race: Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. inside the Community Center

Goodies: Hot Chocolate and Bagels! (and of course, water!).

Race Day Photos: by Oregonpixels.com Note - the photgrapher was snowed in the weekend of the race and unfortunately, there will be no race day photos this year.

Results: To be posted on the Willamette Valley Road Runner’s web page (www.wvroadrunners.org) and Gallagher’s Fitness Resources downtown Salem.

Awards: Trophies for 1st overall male and female in 3 mile, 6 mile & 15K races.
Trophies for 1st Master male and female in 15K.
Ribbons to top 3 male and female in each age group of each race. (Age Groups: 9 & under; 10-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70 & over) Note: Trophies/Ribbons will not be mailed, but will be available at Gallagher Fitness Resources for pick up until March 1st 2008.

* Directions: To reach the Community Center, cross the Marion Street Bridge to West Salem, and take Wallace Road to the Lincoln Store (about 7 miles from the bridge). Turn left on to Zena Road and proceed West for about 2 miles to the Spring Valley Road/Zena Road/Brush College road intersection. Turn right on to Spring Valley Road and proceed 3 miles to the Community Center, which will be on your left. Car pooling is recommended due to the limited parking! Zoomable Map

I know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the Run. I assume all risks associated with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release Polk County, Marion County, the City of Salem, the Willamette Valley Road Runners, and all other sponsors, their representatives, and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photograph, motion picture, recording, or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. I also understand that the entry fee is non-refundable. No one may enter this event without signing this official waiver!
